KNOWIN adds an Angel+++ round as its household robot moves toward engineering validation
A JD.com-affiliated fund led the financing, reported as several hundred million yuan, for the developer of the X1 robot and GLOW learning system.
KNOWIN is developing a wheeled robot with two folding arms for tasks around the home. Cameras, depth sensing and lidar help it understand its surroundings; its GLOW system combines observations, instructions and feedback to plan and adjust physical actions. The company’s research explores learning a new task from a demonstration, while the X1 hardware is still moving through development toward manufacturing.
The Beijing News reports that the September financing is the company’s fifth since its founding in August 2025. It follows a separate RMB500m round announced on August 10 and takes cumulative funding above RMB1bn. The latest round was described as several hundred million yuan, with no exact amount disclosed. Zhengxingu Capital, Nanshan Strategic Emerging Industry Investment and Walden International joined the lead investor.
What the funding supports
