KNOWIN
A household robotics company developing a folding, wheeled dual-arm robot and the GLOW model system to learn and carry out varied indoor tasks.

Combining physical arms with models that learn from interaction
KNOWIN is developing X1, a wheeled robot with two folding arms intended to perform varied tasks in household spaces. Vision, depth sensing and lidar provide environmental information, while the arms manipulate objects. Its GLOW system combines scene understanding, task planning and action generation, trained on real and simulated physical interactions. A task controller maintains memory, observes execution results and replans, aiming to reuse learned skills when objects or surroundings change.
The intended users are households, but the current product remains in development. KNOWIN publishes demonstrations and a technical report describing real-robot experiments, including adapting to a new task from one demonstration. Those results are research demonstrations rather than evidence of routine consumer use. Its September announcement identifies engineering validation and manufacturing preparation for X1 as current work, alongside expanding training data and improving generalization across home environments.
