Klartext AI receives €75,000 grant for accessible PDFs
Vienna Business Agency supports the studio’s Doclarity product through its Lebensqualität programme.
Doclarity had brought more than 70 institutions into its early-access programme by the announcement, according to Klartext AI. The testing group included public bodies and organizations representing people with visual impairments.
The grant follows earlier research support from the FFG. The project’s next challenge is to make document remediation practical at scale: automated structure work must still leave reviewers able to correct reading order and descriptions before readers rely on the output.
Use of funds
Develop Doclarity’s accessible PDF technology and support its expansion across Europe.
