KHOY raises growth funding to expand its compressed sofa-bed model
A furniture format built for parcel-sized delivery
Making a bulky product easier to ship
KHOY sells convertible sofa beds online, compressing each one into a vacuum-sealed package and cardboard box. Customers unpack the sofa at home, while the smaller delivery format lets the company use standard parcel networks for a product that would otherwise need bulky-goods freight.
That logistics choice is central to the business: the company says compression can cut delivery costs by up to 95% compared with conventional furniture shipping. KHOY reported €4.3 million in 2025 revenue and said more than 80% of sales came from outside Finland, evidence that its cross-border model already extends beyond its home market.
Taking the model into new markets
KHOY says it will scale in Europe and accelerate its US operation while extending its product range. The test is whether a compact delivery format can preserve the economics and customer experience of a large item as the brand enters markets where it has less name recognition.
