Kheops raises €12 million Series A for direct grocery sourcing
The French platform links independent grocery assortments to regional suppliers, bringing product discovery and purchasing into one workflow.
A local assortment through one ordering layer
Kheops gives grocery stores a way to source regional and specialist products alongside centrally purchased ranges. Suppliers publish catalogs to the same network, with assortments tailored to the catchment area of each store.
The platform carries a direct order through listings, delivery, invoices and payment. That joined workflow matters because local purchasing can add supplier relationships and administrative steps for a store; Kheops aims to make those transactions manageable without displacing central procurement.
A network already in use
Kheops says its platform serves more than 500 stores and lists over 3,000 suppliers and 200,000 products. The financing therefore supports expansion of an operating marketplace, where adding stores can make the supplier catalog more useful and a broader catalog can improve the choice available to each retailer.
