Kardigan closes $254m Series B for cardiovascular drug development
The funding supports three late-stage programs targeting defined forms of heart disease.
Kardigan announced a $254 million Series B on October 14, 2025. New investors included Fidelity Management & Research Company and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Investment Management, alongside returning investors ARCH Venture Partners and Sequoia Heritage.
The company plans to advance three programs addressing genetic dilated cardiomyopathy, acute severe hypertension and calcific aortic valve stenosis. The financing supports clinical progress and a sequence of data readouts beginning in 2026.
Kardigan’s portfolio combines licensed medicines with a development approach focused on matching disease biology to patient groups most likely to respond. The Series B follows its separate $300 million Series A earlier in 2025.
