Kaminashi raises approximately ¥2.21bn Series C for frontline operations software

Incubate Fund leads the financing as the company connects frontline records with business systems.

Kaminashi has raised approximately ¥2.21 billion in a Series C equity round to expand its products and connect operational data across factories, warehouses and stores. Incubate Fund led through IF Growth 1. Participants included Artemis Ventures, Chiba Dojo Fund, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Dai-ichi Life Insurance, Keio Rail Fund, T&D Innovation Fund, KRAFTIA Innovation Fund and YMFG Capital.

The funding supports the company’s Frontline Operations Hub strategy. Alongside new products, Kaminashi will develop shared infrastructure across its software and expand Project Lux, which connects customers’ frontline records with core business systems. It also plans to hire for product and business development.

From daily records to operating decisions

The company plans to release a production-recording product in November. Staff will enter output directly on phones or tablets, connecting production figures with records about work, people and equipment. Through Project Lux, a collaboration with Kirin Group Logistics is linking inspection and safety data to help prevent warehouse accidents.

The new round brings Kaminashi’s cumulative equity funding to approximately ¥6.1 billion. Its total including borrowing exceeds ¥7.6 billion; those cumulative figures are separate from the current Series C.
