Jio Platforms opens IPO subscriptions with an offer ceiling of ₹30,213 crore
The fresh-share offer runs October 21–23, 2026; its final proceeds will depend on pricing and allotment.
A public offer of new shares
Jio Platforms opened subscriptions for its initial public offering on October 21, 2026. The offer comprises up to 270 million new shares, with a reported price band of ₹1,065–1,119 per share and a gross ceiling of ₹30,213 crore at the upper price.
Reliance Industries’ filing sets October 23 as the closing date. The offer includes reservations for eligible employees and Reliance shareholders. It is a fresh issue rather than an offer for sale by existing shareholders.
Anchor allocation is part of the offer
Ahead of the public subscription window, Jio Platforms allocated 72,474,066 shares to anchor investors at ₹1,119 per share on October 19. That allocation forms part of the IPO rather than a separate additional raise.
The proposed proceeds are intended mainly to repay borrowings of operating subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm, alongside general corporate purposes. The offer ceiling describes the open transaction; it is not a statement of final money raised.
Use of funds
Repay or prepay borrowings of subsidiary Reliance Jio Infocomm and fund general corporate purposes.
