IRISgo’s €500,000 investment closes after post-show negotiations
The Swiss drinkware maker sells insulated cups with a rotating iris closure that opens a broad drinking aperture without a loose lid.
From television pitch to completed deal
The investment followed the September 14 broadcast of Die Höhle der Löwen: Herb and IRISgo’s founders continued negotiations after filming and later confirmed their working relationship. That follow-through turns the on-air offer into a completed financing agreement, with Herb already involved in the company’s operations.
A mixed financing structure
Dealroom’s report, citing Startupticker, describes the €500,000 package as an equal split between company equity and a revenue-based loan. The broadcast pitch had been presented as €500,000 for 10% of the company, but coverage of the finalized agreement does not disclose the final equity percentage.
