Materials that radiate heat away
i2Cool’s Particle+ platform uses functional nanoparticles to reflect incoming sunlight and emit heat through the atmospheric infrared window. Unlike powered cooling equipment, the material produces its cooling effect without electricity at the surface where it is applied.
The company works with manufacturers to adapt the materials for buildings, vehicles, textiles and industrial products. Its reported clients include Sunwoda Electronic, Towngas and Toyota Tsusho.
