Huppa raises €1m pre-seed to develop software for gyms and studios
The Amsterdam company will expand its team and platform, initially focusing on sports businesses in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Huppa announced €1 million in pre-seed investment on 12 October. A group of experienced entrepreneurs and investors led the financing, including founders of Sentia, Keylane, TicketSwap, Moneybird and Revue, together with NL SportTech Ventures.
The company will use the capital to develop its platform and expand its team. It initially targets the Netherlands and Belgium, aiming to serve at least 150 sports businesses by the end of 2027 before expanding more widely in Europe.
Huppa brings member management, class bookings, payments and business information together for gyms, CrossFit boxes and studios. The founders want to connect operational and financial data so owners can assess membership performance and identify opportunities to improve class revenue.
