Human Sauce receives £60,000 BGV programme investment
BGV backed Human Sauce’s assistive product discovery work through its £60,000 Spring 2025 programme investment.
Human Sauce joined Bethnal Green Ventures’ Spring 2025 Tech for Good cohort, announced on 24 March 2025. The programme offered a £60,000 investment to each selected business.
Pete Barr and Ryan McClure were building a conversational comparison service to help disabled people identify assistive technologies suited to their needs.
The proposed conversational interface was intended to help people explain what they needed and navigate the available products. The goal was to reduce the effort involved in finding appropriate assistive technology.
