Henry secures ¥1.2bn in debt and equity from regional financial groups

Five Japanese regional banks supplied ¥1.1bn in venture debt, alongside ¥100m of investment from YMFG Capital and Hokuhoku Capital.

Lenders become a route to hospital customers

Shizuoka Bank arranged the loan with Fukuoka Bank, Joyo Bank, Nagoya Bank and Yamanashi Chuo Bank. Henry plans to work with the participating institutions on hospital introductions and sales, combining their existing customer relationships with its clinical and administrative systems.

The company says roughly 80% of the hospitals using Henry are outside major urban centres. Its regional focus links this financing to customers facing both staff shortages and the operational difficulty of replacing core software.
