Gridsight raises $26M Series B to expand grid software in the U.S.
The Australian company serves utilities integrating solar, EVs and rising demand.
Making distribution capacity visible
Gridsight gives power utilities a dynamic view of distribution-grid capacity by combining their network models with data from fragmented systems and electrical physics. The platform automates complex analysis and helps operators understand where existing infrastructure can accommodate solar generation, electric vehicles and new demand such as data centers.
The company serves utilities in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and the UK. Insight Partners led the $26 million Series B, joined by Galvanize, Airtree, Energy Transition Ventures and Aera VC, as Gridsight accelerates its U.S. expansion while continuing to grow in Australia.
