Angels Way makes its first investment with €50,000 backing for Granter

The Portuguese community-managed fund chose the AI grant application company for its first portfolio investment in March 2025.

Angels Way invested €50,000 in Granter, becoming the community-managed fund’s first portfolio investment. ECO reported the transaction on 12 March 2025, and founder Bernardo Seixas subsequently confirmed the backing.

The fund brought together 436 small investors to evaluate startups and decide collectively where to invest. Granter was selected from 38 companies considered by the community.

Funding access on both sides

Granter helps businesses find public funding opportunities and prepare grant applications. Its platform gathers information about an organisation, matches relevant programmes and generates an application suited to the selected opportunity.

The investment paired a fund designed to open early-stage investing to more participants with a company seeking to simplify access to public grants. Angels Way’s €50,000 ticket is the disclosed size of this individual investment.
