Gaussion raises $28 million to commercialise battery-control technology
BGF and AlbionVC co-led the financing for the London company.
Gaussion announced a $28 million funding round on June 29, with participation from Autotech Ventures, UCL Technology Fund, DN Capital and Future Ventures.
The money will support deployment of its MagLiB retrofit system and Aeon control platform across transport, data centres and electronics. The company uses external magnetic fields and control software to improve battery charging without changing cell chemistry.
