Foundry raises ₹12 crore to develop premium kitchen appliances

BEENEXT and Kettleborough VC co-lead the pre-seed round for former Dyson India managing director Ankit Jain’s new venture.

Financing engineering before launch

The investment supports technology development and engineering for Foundry’s first kitchen-appliance range, planned for the second half of 2027. Rishubh Satiya, Anindita Sampath and Anita Pramoda also participated personally.

Foundry aims to combine its own technology with industrial design and new materials, then expand beyond the kitchen. The initial round finances that development stage ahead of the planned commercial launch.

Use of funds

Develop proprietary technology and engineer the first kitchen-appliance range for a planned H2 2027 launch.
