FAZ Cred raises R$80m for private payroll lending
A new receivables fund backs the Brazilian fintech’s move beyond its condominium lending base.
FAZ Cred assembled the capital for its Mais Trabalhador FIDC over 60 days, according to NeoFeed. Patrimonial is the principal backer identified for the company’s credit funds.
The financing supports a broader borrower base for a business that began in condominium lending. Health and education workers already feature in its private payroll operation.
Small loans are central to its approach: the company told NeoFeed that typical tickets run between R$1,500 and R$1,600. Spreading lending across borrowers and employers is part of its effort to manage concentration risk.
Use of funds
Expand private payroll lending into sectors including automotive and construction.
