Everest Biolabs receives $2.1 million NIH SBIR grant
The award supports development of higher-throughput extracellular-vesicle isolation tools for biomarker research.
Automating extracellular-vesicle research
Everest Biolabs makes instruments and consumables that help laboratories isolate and analyze extracellular vesicles, particles studied as potential disease biomarkers. Its Ascent and Summit systems automate sample preparation at different throughput levels, while columns and ELISA kits support isolation and measurement. The NIH grant backs further automation for processing larger sample cohorts and improving purity from complex biofluids.
