Testing predicted gene interactions

Engine’s NetMAPPR platform uses machine learning to narrow down potential gene combinations, then tests them through combinatorial CRISPR experiments. This links computational predictions to laboratory evidence for targets and patient-selection biomarkers.

Existing investors provide capital

The financing was reported on February 9. Named backers include Polaris Partners, ClavystBio, SEEDS Capital, Coronet Ventures and Vantage Bio, which supported the company’s earlier precision medicine work.
