Ebury's £550 million financing combines new capital and secondary share sales
Centerbridge leads the package alongside Santander, Vitruvian Partners and 83North; Santander subsequently confirmed completion.
Ebury announced approximately £550 million of financing on April 30, 2026, led by Centerbridge Partners alongside Santander, Vitruvian Partners and 83North. The package was structured as two transactions combining new capital with secondary share sales. The allocation between those components was not disclosed.
Santander committed £50 million and said it would retain a 55% majority stake. The April announcement made completion subject to regulatory approvals. Santander subsequently stated in its first-half financial report that the approximately £550 million financing had completed during the second quarter.
