e-dash raises ¥3.342bn from five corporate investors
The Japanese carbon-management business will expand its technology and professional support as companies address emissions across their supply chains.
e-dash has raised ¥3.342 billion through a third-party allotment of shares to five investors, the company announced on August 31, 2026. The participants are Mitsui & Co, JA Mitsui Strategic Partners, West Holdings, Shinkin Capital and Chuden Environment Technos.
Extending decarbonization support
The company plans to strengthen the combination of software and professional support it provides for corporate decarbonization. It will also work with its shareholders on solutions that connect businesses, regional financial institutions and local authorities.
e-dash said customer needs have expanded since its previous financing in 2024. Japan’s sustainability-disclosure standards and the development of emissions-trading arrangements are increasing the work required to measure emissions and coordinate reduction efforts beyond a company’s own operations.
Its core platform measures Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions. Product carbon-footprint calculations and supplier ESG-data collection extend that service into products and supply chains, while consulting support helps customers move from measurement to disclosure and implementation.
