Organising local listings

Buying and selling in Syria has often depended on word of mouth, physical signs and unstructured social-media groups. Doushesh brings listings into a searchable marketplace spanning goods, property and services, helping buyers browse categories and sellers reach local customers.

Developing the platform

Adnan Khabbaz joined as an investor and technical adviser. The January financing coverage described plans to improve search and listing classification, tackle fake advertisements and expand the user base in major Syrian provinces. Property and vehicle services were also part of the development roadmap.

Where the funding goes

  • Technical infrastructure and listing quality
  • User expansion across Syrian provinces
