Moving the specialist rather than the patient

Traverse connects commercial robots, ultrasound equipment, cameras and haptic controllers so a remote sonographer can perform an exam. Dopl Connect carries the data, while SonoFlex coordinates the clinical workforce and workflow.

Preparing hospital pilots

The Bothell company has established a 510(k) regulatory pathway. Its existing CareBridge service supplies travelling sonographers to selected hospitals; those relationships are intended to support later pilots of the robotic system after clearance.

Where the funding goes

  • Product verification and validation
  • FDA submission and clearance activities
  • Clinical evaluation and initial market release
