DoD Solution raises $2.1 million pre-seed for AURA autonomy platform
Onboard hardware and software help unmanned vehicles navigate and execute missions when GPS or remote control is limited.
Autonomy on the vehicle
AURA combines onboard computing hardware, an SDK and autonomy software for unmanned systems. Its navigation, mission-planning and execution tools can work with cameras and electro-optical/infrared sensors, while integrators can connect communications and their own autonomy software.
Designed for integration
The platform gives UAV and unmanned-system manufacturers a way to add onboard AI without assembling separate compute boards and software components. DoD Solution says Ukrainian unmanned-systems teams have helped build and validate the technology.
