DeskAmigo secures €350,000 pre-seed to expand flexible workspaces
The marketplace gives remote professionals reservable work spots in local venues and helps cafés, hotels and restaurants earn from underused space.
A bookable desk in a local venue
DeskAmigo lets remote workers find and reserve short-term workspaces in cafés, restaurants, hotels and other venues. Venue owners choose which spaces, hours and prices to list, turning spare tables or rooms into bookable inventory.
The model matches two needs: workers get a place to work without a long-term office commitment, while hospitality businesses gain a customer channel during quieter periods. The company has also described an employer offer for distributed teams as a pilot.
Growing the marketplace
DeskAmigo secured €350,000 in pre-seed funding to expand its platform. The investment supports the next stage of a two-sided marketplace whose reach depends on building both local venue supply and a useful set of places for remote workers.
