Crux Analytics raises $2.2m seed for business banking relationships

Community-bank and credit-union investors back software that helps relationship managers identify prospects and act on changes in client businesses.

Crux Analytics turns business research into a working prospecting process. The platform identifies potential clients, prioritizes them using business signals and helps staff prepare outreach. It also monitors existing relationships for a reason to reconnect. For a branch employee or relationship manager, the result is context for the next conversation with a business owner.

Teams can use a web application without integrating their core banking systems, or take the intelligence through an API. The company began with community banks and credit unions and is extending its approach to other relationship-led businesses. Lead investor Castle Creek Launchpad has 34 community banks as limited partners; Chartway Ventures, One Washington Financial and Curql also joined the round. The financing brings Crux’s total capital raised to $3.2m.
