Shared interests that lead to meeting in person
CLIQ lets people join communities around activities such as exercise, reading and faith, then attend local events. It focuses on friendships and in-person participation rather than a feed of social-media content. At the announcement, the company reported more than 100,000 users across markets including the UK, US and Australia.

The financing includes a family office and angel investors alongside Artesian, following a £530,000 pre-seed round in 2024. The company plans to expand its team and strengthen the platform’s technology. It described the new investment as seven figures without disclosing an exact amount.
