Clipto raises $15m at a $250m valuation for video search
The company indexes what is said and shown in video so editors and media teams can find a specific moment with a written query.
Finding the scene inside the file
Clipto combines speech, on-screen text, visual objects and actions into a searchable index of a video library. A user can describe the footage they need and jump to a matching scene, rather than manually watching or logging each file.
The product also supports transcription, summaries and clip exports. That connects discovery with the next steps in an editing workflow: identifying the relevant material, understanding it and extracting a usable segment.
