Chemify secures £22m grant package to expand automated chemistry capacity
The funding will expand the Glasgow company’s Chemifarm and its software-led system for designing and making molecules.
From digital instructions to molecules
Chemify links computational chemistry with robotic laboratories: its software directs experiments that design, synthesize and test molecules. That connection lets research teams move from a digital plan to physical compounds, with the laboratory executing chemistry workflows that would otherwise require repeated manual setup.
More capacity for research partners
The package will expand Chemify’s second-generation Chemifarm, more than double its chemistry research and development capacity, and support expansion in Glasgow. The investment increases the company’s ability to run experiments for pharmaceutical, materials and chemical research teams as it develops the automated platform.
