Cellares adds $50m from Prime Radiant to its Series D
The growth equity investment supports automated cell-therapy manufacturing and the company’s European expansion.
Cellares announced a $50 million investment from Prime Radiant Fund SLP SICAV-RAIF on June 15, 2026. The fund is advised by Prime Radiant Partners. Cellares said the investment brought its Series D financing to $327 million.
The proceeds support its Smart Factory network, including a facility under construction in Leiden, the Netherlands, that the company expects to be GMP-ready in 2027. Cellares automates cell-therapy manufacturing and quality control for drug developers.
The company’s manufacturing relationships include Bristol Myers Squibb and Cabaletta Bio. The new equity backing accompanies its move toward commercial-scale production across several major pharmaceutical markets.
