Carrum Mobility raises $10 million from Uber to scale its fleet platform
Uber’s investment supports expansion of Carrum’s managed vehicle network and technology, including Uber Black services.
How the product works
Carrum deploys and manages electric and CNG vehicles for ride-hailing. Its fleet tools cover driver onboarding, document renewals, maintenance and theft prevention, while repairs and support help keep vehicles available for work.
What the funding enables
Driver and manager tools also coordinate communications, settlements and payments. Carrum reports operating 5,100 vehicles across six cities; the investment links its fleet operations to a broader premium mobility push, with capital planned for operations, technology and Uber Black.
