CameraMatics secures growth investment in a deal worth up to €49m
The fleet technology company is expanding internationally in a transaction that also gives existing investors partial liquidity.
CameraMatics announced an investment of up to €49 million on June 10, led by Blume Equity alongside the Ireland Strategic Investment Fund and Goodbody Capital Partners, investing on behalf of AIB. The company plans to expand in North America and Europe, strengthen sales and customer support, and develop its AI fleet safety products.
The headline transaction value includes liquidity for existing investors. Sure Ventures confirmed a partial realisation through its holding in Sure Valley Ventures Fund 1, as well as repayment of a separate working-capital facility. The announcements do not break out how much of the total is fresh capital for CameraMatics.
The business provides connected video and operational tools for commercial fleets. Existing shareholders remain invested, while Salica Investments continues its debt financing support. That continuing facility is separate from the new equity consortium.
