Branch Energy raises $33m Series B to expand distributed energy
Piva Capital and Clean Energy Ventures co-led the round as Branch expands its Arc system beyond Texas.
Battery capacity for commercial sites
Branch Energy installs and operates Arc, an on-site system combining an industrial battery, grid equipment and software for commercial buildings. Its controls manage the battery to provide backup power and respond to site needs, while the company’s model is designed to let building owners access the equipment without paying the full system cost upfront.
Branch says Arc is already operating at commercial sites such as warehouses, hotels, factories and retail locations in Texas. The Series B will support expansion into Illinois and the broader PJM region.
