NVIDIA plans investment in biomolecular AI company Boltz
Boltz develops models and software for molecular design and drug-discovery workflows.
Planned strategic investment
NVIDIA announced a planned investment in Boltz on October 13, 2026. The amount and closing date were not disclosed.
Boltz provides foundation models, an API and a research platform for designing proteins and small molecules. On October 21, it separately announced an agreement with Bristol Myers Squibb to deploy its platform and co-develop custom models on the pharmaceutical company’s NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD infrastructure. That agreement builds on BMS scientists’ existing use of Boltz’s open-source models.
