BitVault launches globally with CHF500,000 in backing
Le Chêne Family Office and angel Brad Mills finance the Swiss Bitcoin-security startup.
BitVault’s global App Store launch brings its delayed-transfer security software to paying retail customers. Founder Francesco Madonna told Startupticker the Lugano startup already had a few hundred subscribers when it disclosed CHF500,000 in initial financing.
Its distribution strategy relies on wallets, exchanges and family offices integrating the technology and bringing customers through revenue-sharing arrangements. A separate $1.5 million seed round is planned for 2027; the company says sales and distribution are its immediate priorities.
