Biochar Industrial Group raises pre-seed funding for its factory-side carbon removal model
The company installs and operates pyrolysis equipment at agricultural processors’ sites.
Turning factory residues into a carbon-removal operation
Biochar Industrial Group works with food and agricultural processors that generate large volumes of residues such as palm kernel shells, cashew husks and sawdust. It finances, installs and operates a low-oxygen pyrolysis system at the partner’s site, converting that material into stable biochar without requiring the processor to buy the equipment.
The company manages production and carbon-credit verification, then shares sales proceeds with the processor. Its model links an existing waste stream to a new revenue line, while independent checks of the biochar’s carbon content and stability support the credits generated.
