Ayan Capital secures up to £75m Shariah-compliant facility to expand car finance
The senior ijara-based debt facility will fund new vehicle originations and support AyanCare as the UK lender grows its offering.
A vehicle-finance structure built around ownership
Ayan Capital finances cars through an ijara structure. It buys and owns the vehicle during the finance term, while the customer makes agreed rental payments before ownership transfers at the end. The model gives UK consumers and businesses a route to car finance aligned with Islamic finance principles.
Triple Point originated a senior facility of up to £75m for Ayan. The debt will provide capacity for vehicle originations and support the expansion of AyanCare, which adds repair support for participating customers.
Ayan’s retail product launched in late 2025, and the company is building its lending operation toward broader financial services. The facility supports that growth while the underlying financing remains tied to vehicle purchases and the ijara rental structure.
