Axle Energy raises $25m Series A for distributed grid flexibility
Energize Capital leads the round, with Accel, Picus Capital and Eka returning.
Axle Energy announced a $25 million Series A on July 8 to expand its energy flexibility platform in Europe and other markets. Energize Capital led the round alongside existing investors Accel, Picus Capital and Eka Ventures.
The company connects devices such as batteries, EVs and heat pumps to electricity markets. Its next phase of expansion aims to make more of that distributed capacity available to grid operators, helping balance demand as renewable generation grows.
