Autopoiesis Sciences raises $11m seed round led by Threshold Ventures
Informed Ventures, Alpaca VC, VitalStage Ventures and Correlation Ventures join the research software company’s investor group.
The company says thousands of researchers use Aristotle, including individuals working at pharmaceutical businesses, universities and public agencies. Those affiliations describe its users; the announcement does not establish contracts with each named institution.
Alongside its researcher-facing assistant, Autopoiesis is developing Columbus-1 for longer autonomous research workflows. Its announcement links a research paper describing the system and claims it has produced novel results, moving the company’s work beyond assistance with individual literature and hypothesis tasks.
