Autoheal raises $7.9m to help engineering agents improve from their mistakes

Innovation Endeavors led the seed round for a platform that uses engineering feedback to propose better agent instructions, with engineers approving each change.

An incident investigation can leave behind useful evidence: a rejected pull request, a failed build or a review comment explaining what went wrong. Autoheal uses those signals to evaluate agents working across software operations. Its shared context connects repositories, services, tickets and releases, helping an agent understand the system it is changing.

The improvement step is concrete. Autoheal proposes changes to an agent’s skills, memory, permissions or model choice as a pull request, checks the proposal against previous runs and asks an engineer to approve it. In the funding announcement, Nomura Bank describes using agents to gather incident evidence under access controls; AvidXchange reports faster root-cause investigation. These deployments give the company a starting point for expanding beyond individual coding tasks into ongoing operational work.

What the funding supports

  • Develop private enterprise-specific language models
  • Expand the governed engineering agent platform

Autoheal

A platform for enterprise engineering teams to run and improve agents for incident response, vulnerability remediation and AI coding costs, with changes reviewed by engineers.
