Aukera raises $15 million as Peak XV backs jewellery retail expansion

The June 2025 equity round added Peak XV Partners to a syndicate supporting the lab-grown diamond brand’s Indian store network.

Aukera announced a $15 million equity financing on 30 June 2025, led by Peak XV Partners. Fireside Ventures, Sparrow Capital, Prath Ventures and Alteria Capital also participated. Alteria added equity exposure alongside its existing lending relationship.

At the time, the brand operated 13 stores in Bengaluru, Delhi NCR and Hyderabad. Co-founder Lisa Mukhedkar identified physical retail as its largest investment priority, complemented by technology and marketing to help customers understand lab-grown diamonds.

Co-founder Kumar Saurabh described an India-centred supply chain, covering diamond sourcing and jewellery production. The expansion strategy paired that supply base with direct customer relationships through stores and online channels.
