August Robotics raises $30m to expand autonomous construction fleets
Big Pi Growth I leads the Series B for robot production, deployments and international service hubs.
August Robotics has raised $30 million in Series B equity financing led by Big Pi Growth I. The May 21, 2026 round supports robot manufacturing, wider deployment and new applications for its autonomy platform.
Blackbird, Skip Capital, Tanarra, Future Family Office, GS Futures and Grok Ventures also participated. The company plans to expand its global hubs and strengthen AI, software and fleet-management capabilities.
Its robots perform tasks including downward drilling on construction sites and floor marking in exhibition venues. The latest financing supports deployments in data-centre construction and other industrial workflows.
