Asaas raised R$50m for its second receivables fund in 2023
The FIDC financing supported advances against customers’ credit-card receivables.
Asaas raised R$50m through its second FIDC operation, according to a report published on August 10, 2023. The financing was intended to expand advances against credit-card receivables for customers using the fintech’s financial services.
Itaú BBA structured the fund and coordinated distribution of its units. Asaas said the funding would give customers more working capital and liquidity, while further series could follow after a four-month regulatory lock-up.
The receivables financing was separate from a R$100m equity round the company had closed earlier that year. Asaas served small and medium-sized businesses through digital accounts and payment products; the financing expanded liquidity for its card-receivables service.
