Aria raises €15 million Series A led by 13books Capital

The French fintech expands embedded deferred payments for B2B platforms and marketplaces.

Funding payment infrastructure for platforms

Aria announced €15 million in equity financing on December 12, 2023, led by 13books Capital. Adevinta Ventures, Ankaa Ventures and Otium Capital participated, alongside angels Laurent Ritter, Mark Ransford and Guillaume Princen.

The financing supports expansion of the company’s deferred-payment infrastructure across B2B marketplaces and the platform economy.

Let suppliers get paid while buyers retain terms

Aria integrates into a platform’s existing systems so suppliers can receive payment promptly while buyers have up to 90 days to pay. This addresses the working-capital gap between delivering a service or goods and collecting the invoice.

The equity financing is separate from the debt facilities Aria uses to fund invoices.
