Opening the workout platform to more bikes

Apex originally sold its own smart bike with a companion app. Its new model uses the FTMS Bluetooth standard to connect the workout experience to other indoor bikes, reducing the need for customers to buy dedicated equipment.

Distribution beyond the original hardware

A partnership with Johnson Health Tech, the manufacturer behind Matrix and Schwinn, creates opportunities to reach more riders. The round was facilitated by FundMyPitch and backed by unnamed strategic angels and venture investors. Apex previously raised a £3 million seed round in 2021.
