Airbility raises $4.7M Series A for electric aircraft and counter-drone systems
Its eVTOL platform pairs electric propulsion with onboard autonomy and sensing.
Electric aircraft for air security
Airbility develops high-speed electric vertical-takeoff-and-landing aircraft and counter-drone systems. Its aircraft combine distributed electric fanjet propulsion and modular hybrid-energy systems with onboard autonomy and external sensors; the counter-UAS concept is designed to detect and physically intercept hostile drones.
The company runs research and manufacturing operations in South Korea and reports commercial discussions in more than nine countries.
