Medical Data Vision invests in medical documentation startup AIBORN

The investment extends an existing distribution relationship for Katanashi.

AIBORN announced on October 1 that it had received investment from Medical Data Vision and entered a capital and business partnership. The investment amount was not disclosed.

From distribution to a closer partnership

Medical Data Vision has sold AIBORN’s Katanashi tool to medical institutions since August 2025. The companies plan to deepen cooperation in product development, deployment and support after installation.

Katanashi turns clinical conversations into transcripts and draft records, including SOAP-format summaries. AIBORN developed it with input from healthcare professionals to reduce documentation work during consultations and team discussions.
