Advance Composite secures Series B investment from Toa Electric

Engineering materials for heat and precision

Advance Composite uses squeeze casting to combine aluminum and other metals with ceramics or graphite, producing materials that can bring together thermal conductivity, stiffness, low expansion and vibration damping. Those properties are relevant to components that must manage heat while maintaining precise dimensions or reducing weight.

The company is pursuing applications in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, data centers, automotive systems and power electronics. Toa Electric’s network across electronics and industrial materials could help connect the composites with customers and new use cases.
