Making a local service easier to book abroad

WellBe combines service discovery, reservations, advance payment and interpretation for international visitors using Japanese salons and wellness businesses. Participating providers use the platform to reach overseas customers and manage the practical barriers around language and booking.

The Tokyo company reports a network of several hundred locations, concentrated in cities including Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Fukuoka. It is developing travel-channel partnerships and exploring related healthcare services as extensions of the same booking infrastructure.
